PARSLEY LEAVES EXTRACT Petroselinum Crispum
Description A green-yellowish liquid extracted from the parsley leaves.
Active Ingredients Vitamins, particularly beta-carotene & vitamin C, minerals: manganese, calcium, iron and phosphorus, flavonoids, poly-phenols especially apiol, apiolin, myristin and pinene.
Properties Due to its richness in vitamins the extract is anti-oxidant, free-radical scavender, clears toxins, reduces inflammation. Like all poly-phenols apiol has bleaching properties.
Application Whitening, anti freckles, anti-aging products
Dosage in formulation 2% to 10%

Toleration For the manufacture of cosmetic preparation, parsley extract is non-irritant to the intact skin. No objection to the application of preparations containing this extract in the vicinity of the eye.
Storage Refrigerated 2-4 C (protected from light, in well closed containers. For good efficiency, this extract should not be stored for longer than 1 year before processing.
